Pro StoresAdvice About MLM

Multi Level Marketing has been around as long as most of us can remember. Avon, Amway, Tupper Ware, Mary Kay and every lotion, potion and pill imaginable has been sold through some type of direct, word of mouth marketing.   Millions of people get involved with MLM every year and the number of people who are looking for an alternative to punching somebody’s else’s clock every day is steadily increasing, particularly in the newly dubbed Y generation. (Ages 18 to 30)

Historically multi level marketing has been a great way to make your own money without having to answer to anyone other that your own customers. You never have to worry about getting fired and you never have to deal an ungrateful boss or coworker politics.  The only drawback to starting a referral marketing business is that it’s not as easy as most of the hype would have you believe. In fact the failure rate is between 80% and 90%. It takes a lot of hard work, determination and focus just to get to the point where you can actually walk away from that 9 to 5 grind.

Real success, as measured by society’s relative wealth, takes a continuation of your hard work, a little bit of luck and a whole lot of perseverance to achieve.   Very few people have ever reached this level of wealth by just joining the right MLM at the right time, although it has happened. Imagine if you had joined Avon in the first few years if it’s existence and stuck with it all these years. You would have an obscene amount of residual income today.

Old school network marketers understand the dynamics of exponential growth over time.  Many are living a life of luxury because they persevered through tough beginnings and built a business through social networking on a personal level.

Now Comes Gen-Y and the Power of The Internet…

Today there is a new breed of social networking coming up through the ranks and it’s making it an exciting time to be part of the MLM industry. Online Forums like:
Google Groups, Yahoo Answers, My Space, Craigslist, Ryze and a host of other networking groups are changing the way network marketing is done. This is bringing about a massive trend of people gravitating to the idea of home business entrepreneurship and the balance of wealth in America is beginning to shift to the masses as ordinary people are doing extraordanary things in MLM.

Huge corporations have been built on multi level marketing and more are emerging all the time. The underlying problem to this new trend is that most of the newly emerging MLM companies will fail. So it pays to be cynical about the company, product or program you may be considering.

There are a lot of fly-by-night MLMs out there that are nothing more than a glorified pyramid scheme so you have to scrutinize every opportunity extensively before you make a final decision about the company you join and the product you sell.

The best advice I ever received about MLM was from a master network marketer named Brig Hart.  He said “Never get involved in network marketing unless you yourself use and enjoy the benefits your product on a daily bases.” I believe this is one of main reasons most people fail at MLM. After all. How can you tell people about the benefits of a product if you don’t experience those benefits on a regular bases?

My product of choice and an outstanding company to team up with is Mona Vie.
I chose this program because of the natural health benefits of the product. Also because of the exemplary customer service and support of the Mona Vie Company.  I also had other reasons for getting involved with Mona Vie, like it’s intrinsic appeal to the world’s largest demographic, (Baby Boomers like myself.) and an outstanding compensation plan, but when you get right down to it I just like the way the product makes me feel.

Of course there are many other decent MLM companies out there that are stable and would make a good partner to team up with, Success University is probably one of the best MLM companies to get involved with if your are new to networking because they teach you the strategies and procedures to help you succeed, not just in your SU business, but in life as well.

Another company I would recommend is GDI or (Global Domains International) because no matter which MLM you join you are going to need your own website, other than the replicated sites most MLMs offer with their program. It’s hard to get decent page rankings with replicated sites and you are going to want different content than the other thousand or so competing sites. Also most of these sites make it impossible to get indexed with search engines like Google and Yahoo because you have to verify site ownership to be indexed and you cant do that with replicated sites.

In conclusion I would just like to reiterate the caution one must take when considering an MLM. Make sure you find a company with a solid financial foundation and a product you believe in, with benefits you enjoy.

Finally, if you have any pain in your joints and are looking for a natural remedy for your pain, or if you would just like to have more energy from an all-natural source. Try MonaVie. It could be your next big money maker.
